Complete Skin Check (Molemap)
A Complete Skin Check/Mole Map is a comprehensive skin examination designed to assess moles and skin lesions for signs of skin cancer. At our clinic, we utilise advanced FotoFinder technology to meticulously document and photograph your moles, creating a detailed record that allows for easy tracking over time. This state-of-the-art system helps identify any changes in size, shape, or colour that may indicate potential concerns.
By combining a thorough examination of your skin using a handheld dermatoscope and cutting-edge imaging, a mole-map provides peace of mind and aids in the early detection of skin cancer, ensuring you receive the best possible care for your skin health. Regular Mole-maps are a proactive step towards maintaining your skin’s well-being.
Mole mapping is beneficial for anyone who is concerned about their skin health, particularly those with a family history of skin cancer. Individuals with many moles or atypical moles, those who have had previous skin cancer diagnoses. Additionally, anyone who spends significant time in the sun or uses tanning beds should consider regular Mole-mapping as a proactive measure.
